Every club on the list, I went to. Every visit came out of my own pocket. Nobody paid for any of it, and nobody can.
I turn up, pay for the coffee, photograph the room and write down what it is like. Then I do it again somewhere else.
In person, or not at all
Only clubs I have walked into. No aggregated listings, no scraped data, and nothing written about a building I have not stood in.

The score is not for sale
No club has paid to appear on the board and no club can pay to move up it. That is a rule, not a reassurance.
Nobody covers the room you sit in afterwards
I play padel, I travel Europe for work, and I live in Slovakia. This started as a practical problem. I kept turning up at padel clubs wanting to work for three hours either side of a game, and no website anywhere would tell me whether I could. Was there wifi. Was there a table at the right height. Was there a plug I could reach from it. Would anyone mind if I sat there for a while.
Every padel site covers the sport. Courts, coaching, technique, the pro tour. Nobody covers the room you sit in afterwards, so I started writing it down myself.
The nine measures came out of that. They are the things I actually want to know before I drive somewhere. Parking is on the list because I drive a wide Model Y and I have spent too much of my life reversing out of bays built for a Fiat.
If I have got something wrong
If a club thinks I have their score wrong, they are welcome to tell me. If I got a fact wrong I will correct it and say that I did.
The numbers themselves stay my call, because one person making the judgement is the only thing that makes them worth reading. Doing the work is what moves a score, and I re-score free, next time I am in that part of Europe.
I also sell advisory work to padel clubs: a free report on where a club stands, and a paid list of instructions if they want one. The visit and the score are not part of that and never will be. Every club on the board was scored before it had heard from me.
Clubs, if you want me to visit
Email me and I will come and look. What I need is to be able to walk in, look around, take photographs and buy a coffee. If your door needs an access code from a booking system, I cannot review you, however good the courts are.
I pay my own way, and an invitation does not buy a good score. If the hall echoes and there is nowhere to sit, that is what the page will say.
