Three courts under a canopy on Beech Avenue in Taverham, with a nine and a half metre ceiling, the highest in Norwich. There is a fourth court outside.
The tent is the thing that makes it work. It moves air, so it never felt too hot, even in the middle of a British summer. It does not echo the way a metal shed does either.
The friendliest welcome I have had in Norfolk. Rosy on the desk and Paula, their coach, both stopped to talk, and the place has a sociable feel the bigger clubs do not.
The lounge is genuinely nice to sit in. Licensed bar, equipment hire if you turn up without a racket, and a big free car park outside.
There is a main building as well, holding a second social space, a fully licensed bar, toilets, changing rooms and showers.
